Pecan Stuffing Mix - 50grams No Msg Gluten Free
My wife, Heather is a great fan of Pecans. We enjoy them often in salads, cookies, with squash and as a snack food. Heather has often made stuffing with pecans and it’s always a hit. Pecans add a rich nutty flavor and texture to our stuffing mix, which I am sure you will enjoy. The bacon wrap recipe goes well with the pecans. We place them around the turkey as it is baking. The extra bacon wraps are placed in a pan and baked as well. There are never many left over. Gluten free when made using our potato recipe!
Bread Stuffing Instructions: Prepare Bread: Cut 1/2 loaf of bread into cubes. Allow to dry 1/2 day. Combine Spice Mixture, 2 Tblsp (50ml) Butter, and 3/4 to 7/8 Cup (170 ml - 200 ml) Water. Microwave on high for 2 minutes. Mix with prepared bread. Stuff into chicken or turkey and cook.
Potato Stuffing Instructions: Prepare Potato: Boil and mash 1 lb (454g) potatoes (about 4 medium potatoes). Combine Spice Mixture, 2 Tblsp (50ml) Butter, and 3/4 to 7/8 Cup (170 ml - 200 ml) Water. Microwave on high for 2 minutes. Mix with mashed potato. Stuff into chicken or turkey and cook.
Yield: 1 pkg for 5-6 lb (2.5-2.7kg) chicken , 2 pkg for 10-12 lb (4.5–5.5kg) chicken.
