Acadian Chicken Fricot
Farmer John's Own Recipe
2-3 chicken breasts, cut up
15 ml butter
1/2 pkg Acadian Chicken Fricot Spices
1.5 lt of water
2-3 potatoes, peeled & cut into chunks
Salt to taste
In a medium saucepan saute chicken in butter until browned slightly. Add water, Acadian Chicken Fricot spices & potatoes. Cover & allow to simmer for 20 minutes. Salt to taste. Add dumplings!

Dumpling Recipe
500 ml flour
3 ml salt
15 ml baking powder
10 ml sugar
15 ml butter
200 ml milk
Combine dry ingredients together. Cut in butter. Mix in milk. Drop by spoonful into hot soup. Cover & boil over medium heat 15 minutes. (No peeking!)
