Cranberry Stuffing Mix - Giftware

Cranberry stuffing mix really makes me think of Christmas. The family home, the house crowded, playing games and putting together puzzles. Everyone looks forward to Christmas dinner. Cranberries, stuffing and turkey seem to go together. Our cranberries are dried and slightly sweetened to produce a fine flavor in the stuffing. Without sweetened cranberries the mix would be to tart and we searched to find one that was just right and not too sweet. Our cranberry stuffing mix can be used at any season to bring back memories of Christmas.

Bread Stuffing Instructions: Prepare Bread: Cut 1/2 loaf of bread into cubes. Allow to dry 1/2 day. Combine Spice Mixture, 2 Tblsp (50ml) Butter, and 3/4 to 7/8 Cup (170 ml - 200 ml) Water. Microwave on high for 2 minutes. Mix with prepared bread. Stuff into chicken or turkey and cook.

Potato Stuffing Instructions: Prepare Potato: Boil and mash 1 lb (454g) potatoes (about 4 medium potatoes). Combine Spice Mixture, 2 Tblsp (50ml) Butter, and 3/4 to 7/8 Cup (170 ml - 200 ml) Water. Microwave on high for 2 minutes. Mix with mashed potato. Stuff into chicken or turkey and cook.

Yield: 1 pkg for 5-6 lb (2.5-2.7kg) chicken , 2 pkg for 10-12 lb (4.5–5.5kg) chicken.

Farmer John’s Own Recipe - Bacon Wraps
1 Pkg of Farmer John’s Stuffing Mixture
1 lb (454 g) Bacon, Maple bacon is very good!
1/2 loaf Bread or 4 Medium Potatoes.
Prepare stuffing as per instructions on this package. Wrap 1/2 slice of bacon around 2 Tblsp (50ml) of stuffing. Place the bacon wraps around a chicken that has almost finished its baking and bake for 25 minutes. Serve warm. They are delicious!
