Our organic herbs come from around the world. When I open a package of cinnamon and inhale, I can just imagine the rich jungle of Sri Lanka. The exotic flavors of our herbs and spices come from places like Italy, Indonesia, Israel and Egypt to name a few. Organic certification is insured by certifying organizations in the home country and by international quality assurance programs. Our own processor certification is by the Atlantic Certified Organic www.atlanticcertifiedorganic.ca. We have set aside 7 acres of land for organic certification and plan to begin growing our own basil, dill and parsley as soon as possible. We now package 30 organic herbs and spices. Our organic herbs should be used sparingly due to intense flavors. This is especially true for the black pepper. Basil, bay leaf, cumin, ginger root, parsley, coriander, fennel, oregano, paprika, sage, thyme and turmeric are all very popular.
